What you might want to know about me
How I got here
If we had met at a cocktail party or networking lunch, you’d already know that I’m short and blonde. You might not have guessed that I’m most comfortable in well-worn jeans and high-top Chuck Taylor All-Stars, and that it’s taken me a long time to to figure out what career path to take. I majored in communications in college and earned my degree from the University of Southern California.
If you were to read my resume, you might be surprised at the variety of businesses I’ve worked in over my long professional career: travel – architecture – meetings, events & incentive management – FFE/facilities consulting – telecommunications – information technology – property management – construction – auto transport – accounting – beauty/personal care – retail. And while all that variety might not make sense for someone climbing the corporate ladder, it has been the perfect recipe in making me great at what I do. I know a lot about a lot of things, and that proves to be invaluable to my clients.
After surviving a number of layoffs in the corporate arena, I wanted to have more control over my work life. I start my business in 2003 as Jude Rush Virtual Assistance, which has since evolved into Jude Rush Consulting. I’m happiest when I’m working for myself, with a few people on my team, and supporting a variety of terrific clients who are trying hard to balance their business growth while still dedicating time to the other roles in their lives. I’ve been there. I am there still. I get you.

Certified Automation Service Provider™
I am one of the first Certified Automation Service Providers™ in the industry, having been exclusively trained by Chris L. Davis using his proprietary framework. As an active member of the Automation Bridge community, I am constantly upgrading and expanding my skills and knowledge of the marketing automation landscape.
Certified Master Virtual Assistant
The AssistU “Certified Master Virtual Assistant” is the highest certification offered in the Virtual Assistance industry. You can learn more about this certification here.
Active Campaign Education
I have been working in Active Campaign since 2016, and became an Active Campaign Partner in 2017. I have completed a number of specialized training courses over the years and work with all my clients exclusively using Active Campaign daily for their email marketing automation.

Jude Rush Bio
Jude Rush has been working virtually with small businesses and entrepreneurs for over 20 years, first as the COO of a small Bay Area startup and then as an award-winning virtual assistant and business manager. Along the way, she discovered a love of systems, processes, and automation, which she indulges daily on behalf of her clients.
As the founder and CEO of Jude Rush Consulting, she has partnered with coaches, doctors, attorneys, artists and other entrepreneurs, constructing the back-end operational systems that have enabled them to leverage their software investments and increase their revenue.
Jude grew up along the beaches of Southern California and spent 26 years in Denver, Colorado. She now lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee with her partner, Tony, their four resident cats, and a rotating cast of foster kittens. When she’s not in front of her computer, she’s most likely at a concert, in the kitchen baking, or parked on the couch with a book and some knitting.
